Training Programs: Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy

 

Applies to 6-Week Virtual Training, Doula Skills Session, and Mentorship

Enrollment in any Hola Postpartum training program constitutes a binding agreement to the following terms.

Payment & Payment Plans

All tuition payments, including those made through a payment plan, are legally binding commitments.

By selecting a payment plan, you agree to complete all scheduled installment payments. Failure to attend sessions, access materials, or complete the program does not release you from your financial obligation. Hola Postpartum reserves the right to suspend access to course materials, mentorship, and/or certification until payment is brought current.

Cancellations & Refunds

Before the Program Start Date
Cancellations made fourteen (14) days or more prior to the program start date are eligible for a refund minus a $250 administrative fee.

Cancellations made less than fourteen (14) days before the program start date are non-refundable. At the sole discretion of Hola Postpartum, a one-time transfer to a future cohort (within 12 months) may be granted, subject to availability.

After the Program Has Begun
Once the first live session has commenced, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. No partial refunds will be issued for missed sessions, scheduling conflicts, or failure to complete the program. This includes access to recordings, live classes, mentorship sessions, and the Doula Skills Session.

Doula Skills Session

The Doula Skills Session is a required component of training and is reserved specifically for enrolled students.

If you are unable to attend your selected skills date, Hola Postpartum will make reasonable efforts to place you in an alternate session, if space is available. Missed skills sessions without prior written communication are non-refundable.

Mentorship

Mentorship access is included as part of the training program. Missed mentorship sessions are not refundable and may not be exchanged for credit or monetary value.

Backup Dates & Scheduling Adjustments

Hola Postpartum communicates at the beginning of each cohort that, due to the nature of active client care obligations, schedule adjustments may occasionally be necessary.

Each cohort includes two designated backup dates for live virtual sessions. These dates are reserved in advance to accommodate unforeseen client-related scheduling conflicts.

Additionally, a backup option will be made available for the Doula Skills Session if rescheduling becomes necessary.

If a session is rescheduled within the designated backup dates, this shall not constitute cancellation and does not qualify for a refund.

Program Cancellation by Hola Postpartum

In the event Hola Postpartum cancels the entire training program (not including use of scheduled backup dates), participants will be offered either:

  • A full refund of payments made, or

  • Transfer to a future cohort.

Refunds will not be issued for rescheduled sessions that occur within the pre-communicated backup dates.
